In loving memory of Rex A Jarrett Jr., born August 26,1953 to Rex and Pauline Jarrett in Las Vegas. Rex was raised in Las Vegas along with his siblings Tom, Lisa and Roberta. In high school Rex was known as an athlete. He was #52 on the football team at Las Vegas high school until he graduated in 1971. Rex was ambitious very early and became a business owner after purchasing BMA from a business partner. After BMA Rex didn’t stop there, he went on to own another company called ABC and then started CAPS which was set to become a huge success. CAPS was shutdown after 9/11 but Rex still pursued greatness and never gave up. He was a fighter till the end. He battled throat cancer and beat it. He battled Parkinson’s for 15 years and won everyday. He was very passionate about boxing and continued to do so even with his Parkinson’s. His positive outlook on life was infectious. He strived for excellence everyday. He was the most selfless person you will ever know. He was an amazing and dedicated father, husband, papa and friend. He passed away Thursday December 21, 2023 at 7:28pm. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Carol, his daughter Whitney, his son Paul and 9 grandchildren.
A memorial visitation for Rex will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
