Reed H. Zobrist
February 12, 1931 – August 12, 2014
IN THE CARE OF
Beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, Reed H Zobrist passed peacefully in his home on August 12, 2014.
He was born to Herman Zobrist and Anna Allenbach on February 12, 1931 in Salt Lake City Utah.
Reed grew up in Salt Lake City and served in the Swiss Austrian LDS mission. He moved to Las Vegas to join his brothers in a family business. He married his sweetheart Janice Abbott Zobrist on September 28, 1957 in the St. George temple. Together they raised three daughters, Loraine Zobrist Harris, Patricia Zobrist Martinez and Merrilynne Zobrist. They are blessed with five granddaughters, Holly Loraine, Azurde Loraine, Mandi Kay, Jillian Michelle and Paloma Janice, and four great grand children, Max Reed, Annika Mari, Ezra James and Sebastian Trevor.
He was a blessing to our family and we will miss him dearly.
