Rand Monda Allison, born December 6, 1968, in Canoga Park, California, bid farewell to this world on May 20, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who knew him.
Rand was a devoted husband to Jessica Allison (Adge), his partner in life's journey. Together, they built a life filled with joy, shared dreams, and unwavering support for each other. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and commitment.
As a father, Rand was a beacon of guidance and inspiration to his children, Charlie, Brooke, and KJ. His love for them knew no bounds, and he took immense pride in watching them grow and flourish into the remarkable individuals they are today. Rand's influence will continue to shape their lives, guiding them through every triumph and challenge they encounter.
Rand is survived by his mother, Sandy Demeter and his siblings, Robert Allison, Brian Godwin, Tina Jacobsen, and Karen Monda, who held a special place in his heart and shared in the bonds of family.
In addition to his role as a loving husband and father, Rand was a friend to many, known for his compassionate nature and genuine kindness. His warm smile and contagious laughter could light up any room, bringing joy to those around him. Rand's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Throughout his remarkable career, Rand served with honor and distinction in law enforcement for over 32 years. He dedicated his life to protecting and serving his community, leaving a lasting impact on all those he encountered. Rand worked tirelessly for both the Oakland Police Department and the Henderson Police Department, where he displayed unwavering commitment to justice and integrity. He retired from the Henderson Police Department in 2022.
Though Rand may have departed from this world, his spirit will live on eternally in the hearts of his loved ones. May his memory serve as a source of comfort and strength during this time of grief.
A visitation will be held Wednesday May 29, 2024, from 6pm-8pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary. A funeral service will occur Thursday May 30, 2024, at Central Church at 10am. All who wish to pay their respects and honor his memory are welcome to attend.
