Ray was born in Havana, Cuba to Ramon M. and Rosalia Garcia on July 20, 1944. Ray and his family moved to the United States in 1961. Ray married Mary Loraine Mauldin on October 14, 1966 in Huntington Park, California. Ray and Mary settled in Whittier, California in the 1970s, and later lived in Yuma, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ray is survived by wife Mary, sons Mike and Danny, daughters-in-law Andrea and Marilyn, brother Hector, and grandchildren Justine and Josh.
A memorial service for Ray will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a committal service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
