Paula Kaye Betti, 64, earned her angel wings Dec. 15, 2011, with her family by her side in Las Vegas. She was the loving and dedicated wife, of 45 years, to Thomas R. Betti, nurturing mother to Aubree Figuered and Sabra Betti-Elges, and proud grandmother of Dominick Figuered, Vincent Figuered, and Jaden Elges. Paula was born in Detroit Oct. 29, 1947, where she met and married the love of her life, Thomas. They moved to Las Vegas in 1970, where the couple settled down and made a family. Paula worked reception specifically in the medical field for many years until deciding to work in the casino industry for the Rio. Paula touched many lives with her wonderful personality inside and outside of her profession. Cooking was Paula's passion. She showed her love for her family and friends with her phenomenal cooking abilities. Her recipes were memorable by all those who experienced it. The family will have a celebration of life Sunday, Jan. 15, at their private residence
