Paul Sherman Whisler

Paul Sherman Whisler 79, of Las Vegas Nevada, entered into the arms of the Lord, January 26, 2014.  He was a devoted Husband to wife Joanne (deceased) and father to Edgar, Paula (deceased) and David.  He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.   He passed qway peacefully in the night while sleeping at home.   Paul was born August 6, 1934 to John T. and Evelyne Paul Whisler in Troy, Iowa.  He also has 3 brothers:  John, Gary and Dennis also his sister Sandra Young (deceased).   Paul graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1952.  In 1953 he went to work for Union Pacific Rail Road and worked for them until 1964, as a brakeman.  During the same time 1958-1959, he went to night school and learned Auto Mechanics.  From 1957-1966, he worked for Bill Weagles Chevron, pumping gas and working on cars.  From 1966-1975 he was a Auto-Tech at Gaudin Ford.  And, from 1977-2007 he was employed at Lincoln Mercury.   In 1953 Paul married Joanne and were married until she passed in 2012.   Paul Spent many hours enjoying the outdoors.   Any donations should be made in Paul's name to Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 Swenson St. Las Vegas NV 89119.
