Paul Vincent Canfield, age 63, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2012, in Las Vegas. He was born in St. George, Utah, Nov. 27, 1948, to Wilford Hall and Rhea Vincent Canfield. Paul moved to Las Vegas with his family at age four. He owned his own air conditioning business for many years and was an excellent provider. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and NASCAR. Paul was an active member of the LDS church; he enjoyed his various callings, especially working in the temple. Paul married Kathy Barney in 1966. They had four beautiful daughters, Carol Ann Canfield, Karen Lynn Stephenson, Lisa Kay Lockley and Lesley Sue Thi. They later divorced. Paul married the love of his life, Virginia Lee, and they were later sealed in the Las Vegas Temple for time and eternity. He had 11 grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Rhea Canfield; sisters, Marilyn Fountain and Kaylene Canfield; brother, Brent Canfield; sisters-in-law, Joanie Fine and Minnie Lewis; and brother-in-law, Ben Jonas. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilford Canfield; brother, Rickey Canfield; and granddaughter, Emily Thi. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Visitation again 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, with services at 11 a.m., both at the LDS Chapel at Mustang and Cheyenne.
