

Patrick "Pat" A. DeLorenzo, Sr. Departed this life on October 26, 2015 Pat DeLorenzo, Sr., 82 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. Pat was born in Hazleton, PA to the late Michael and Nellie (Scalleat) DeLorenzo and resided most of his life in Hazleton, PA until relocating to Las Vegas, NV. Pat was married to Mildred (Marsit) for 58 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Patrick A. DeLorenzo, Jr. (and wife, Ellen Moran), Bloomfield, CT and daughter, Rosemary DeLorenzo Ondeck (and husband, Paul), Ambler, PA and twin granddaughters, Courtney and Cassondra Ondeck, State College, PA. In addition, Pat leaves two sisters, Florence Wierzbicki, South Carolina and Antoinette DeVigili, Hazleton, PA. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Verna Marsit, North Las Vegas, and brother-in-law Carmen (and wife, Patricia) Marsit, AZ. Pat leaves an Uncle, Aunt and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In addition to his parents, Pat was pre-deceased by brothers Michael and James (Jay) and his sister, Sylvia (Serdula). Pat was the owner of Triangle Vending Company for many years and later worked for Roth Novelty. Pat graduated from Hazleton Senior High School and was a member of Most Precious Blood parish all his life. Pat attended retreats with the Men of Malvern. Pat was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be missed by all. Pat had a strong faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his ability to enjoy life and his generosity. Pat especially enjoyed activities with his granddaughters. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Pat’s life on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, 2575 W. El Campo Grande Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV (702-637-0200). His family will have a Memorial Mass at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Fourth and Seybert Streets in Hazleton, PA at a time to be announced. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Most Precious Blood Cemetery, Hazleton, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church in North Las Vegas, NV.
