Pasqual Hernandez Urrabazo “Pops” came to Las Vegas in 1958. He was born on July 25, 1937 in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was called to be with the Lord on June 21, 2013. He married Maria Sanchez Urrabazo on May 14, 1960. Pasqual worked as a laborer for Wells Cargo for 27 years. “Pops” was founder of Hydraulics by Fat Boys, established in 1991 and was well known in the low rider community, setting world records in the low rider double pump category.
Only heaven knows the legacy that Pasqual had on the community in Las Vegas. He was a founding member and builder of the First Spanish Church of God (Iglesia de Dios) in North Las Vegas off of Belmont Street. He was a great man and example for all generations. He was a man of honor and integrity. He loved the Lord and prayed for his family always. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and grandfather. He valued family and friendship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Estella and Oralia, brother, Rodolfo, and son, Alfredo Caban.
Pasqual is survived by his wife, Maria and children, Pasqual Jr. (Norma); Michael Anthony “Tony”; Joel David (Marisela Velasco); Sarah Ann (Gustavo); Ruth Amanda; Angela Lynne Simmons (Matthew); Marcus Ruben (Alma); Isaiah Hiram (Steven); three brothers, Jo, Johnny, and Gilbert; two sisters, Maria and Antonia; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
