Paul Rubio, 80, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on September 19, 2014 at Sunrise Hospital. He was born on November 13, 1933 in Manila, Philippines to Pablo and Felicidad Rubio and has three siblings, Fely, Evelyn and half-brother, Noli. He was married to Ruthelma Raneses for 40 years, who predeceased him on March 8, 2003. He then remarried Lety Almadro on August 25, 2005. He is survived by his five children: Gemsrick, Rizza, Danny, Lorelei, and Gina; his seven grandchildren: Janelle, Mae, Danny Jaye, Nicholas, Lisa, Matthew and Mikayla; and six great-grandchildren: Bobby, Ellexis, Tony, Nicholas, Mahalina and Zoe; second wife, Lety; and two sisters, Fely and Evelyn and half-brother, Noli. Paul received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in commerce from Far Eastern University, Philippines, ranking top ten in the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Board exam. He worked as a CPA for many years and later retired with the United States Postal Service. Paul loved watching sports. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco Forty Niners, Oakland Athletics, and the Golden State Warriors. He also loved music, especially singing karaoke. He enjoyed playing mahjong and playing poker.
