It was with extreme sadness that I read of Brother Balane's passing.  He was such an example of true faith in the gospel.  His actions, words, and deeds always were done in accordance with the gospel.  My condolences to his wife and family.  Know he will be missed but not forgotten by those who knew and loved him.  

We will miss your cheerful smile, your laughter, and stories, Daddy Balane. 
I will definitely miss your cooking especially our conversation about the many ways of cooking adobo. Thank you for your wonderful example of Love, Service, and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Until we meet again, Daddy Balane.  We Love You. 

Oh, how we love Bro. and Sis. Balane. Their happy smiles, love for people, and love for the temple and temple service will always bring a smile to my face. We have loved our association with them for so many years. With the passing of Bro. Balane we send our love to all of your family, and wish you comfort, peace, and sweet memories. 

Minsan ko lang ma-meet si Die, but every time we meet, he always carries his camera with him, is what I remember of him and his smile.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers of comfort and peaceful are with the family.  Brother Balane and his wife had been so gracious and kind to me whenever they see me at the office, church, temple and anywhere. He had been so humble in coming to the temple. So sorry that I didn’t have the chance to visit with him when he came to the USA.  May he enjoy his journey back to the other side of the veil.
