Norman was born on June 17, 1951 at Community Memorial Hospital Virgie, Kentucky. His parents were William Morris Tate, Sr. and Willa Mae Johnson. Norman was raised with four siblings. He had an older brother Bill, older sister Carolyn, younger sister Jacquelyn, and a younger sister Nadine. On May 25, 2011 Norman exchanged wedding vows with Helen Hardison in Witchita Falls, Texas and had their wedding reception in Las Vegas, Nevada. Norman Lee Tate passed away on April 19, 2013 at home in Las Vegas, Nevada from heart failure. He is survived by Helen Hardison, Jacquelyn Scott, Nadine and Robert Jackson, Stanley Syversen, Dione Gantt, Robert Jackson III, Al William Tate, Dawn Monique Tate, Trevor Jackson, Uncle Roland and Aunt Lee. Norman had several half-sisters and brothers and a host of grand-nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
