Norma Jean McCarter (Filkel), of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away at the age of 95 on Friday, January 5, 2024. Norma was born in Pittsburg, KS. Norma passed away surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Frank McCarter, as well as three daughters, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Norma was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She loved gardening and playing bridge. She was an active member of Desert Springs Methodist Church.
Services for immediate family will be planned at a future date.
