In loving memory of Nia Brenai Savage. Nia was born April 3, 1992, in Las Vegas, NV to Sharon King Savage and Vincent B. Savage who preceded her in death. Nia was lovingly named by her Aunt Sharon Yvette Savage (The original Sharon Savage which is our longstanding family’s tradition to fondly joke), and her name means purpose. Nia was beautiful on the inside and out and Sharon Yvette affectionately gave her the nickname “Beautiful.”
Nia was very much a Daddy’s girl. They shared the same huge, warm, face-consuming smile. Nia was one of three siblings. She was the older sibling to Arrianna Anise Savage, and the younger sibling to Micah Nicole King.
Nia faced numerous challenges, yet she persevered with remarkable determination, strength, and resilience. Nia was always known for her warm smile and kindhearted spirited soul. Nia will be remembered for her unwavering spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.
Nia was very smart and passionate about many things. One of her first passions was all things beauty related. Nia was gifted and talented with her hands. She loved to do hair and makeup and was self-taught. Nia also had a love for making beats and music. Nia had an incredible sense of humor and an infectious laugh that could light up any room. Nia was fiery, strong-willed, and independent. Nia could do anything she put her mind to and when she had it set on something, that was it, no talking her out of it.
Nia loved people just like her dad Vincent B. Savage and she would talk to just about anyone and make them feel comfortable and at ease. Nia was a fiercely loyal friend and caretaker of many which came directly from our mother as well as being a great cook. She adopted many of her friends as family and they embraced her as the same.
Nia will forever remain in our hearts. She is celebrated and will be greatly missed by her siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins (related and non-related), Godparents, Godbrothers and sisters, Godchildren, and friends.
