Nemours "Pete" Holec

Nemours "Peter" Holec, age 97,passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Nemours was born on March 1, 1924 in Providence, RI and had been a resident of Nevada since 2013. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Marie "Mary" of 68 years and his parents, Anthony and Cecilia Holec.

Nemours "Peter", Honorably Served in the United States Army during World War II, stationed in the Southern Philippines Gliderman and Sharpshooter, Carbine Expert 37mm AT. When Peter returned home to Long Island City, NY in 1945 , he attended and graduated from Heating and Air Conditioning School. Peter met Mary on a blind date and married in September of 1948. He started his career in Heating and A/C on Long Island at Fairchild Aviation, then going onto Grumman Aerospace for many years and later moved and Retired from Motorola Corporation in the Phoenix area.

He is survived by his sister, Antoinette (Monette) Holec; three daughters, Sally Holec, Linda (Richard) Henn and Toni Bonifatto; grandchildren, Joseph and Peter Bonifatto, Donna, Bryan and Danny Henn; great grandchildren, Dillon (Krista), Madison, Cody and Nathan Henn and Alexa Hekel; great great grandchildren, Milo and Cora Henn.

Peter was a Wonderful, Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Remembered most by all for his quick wit and fun loving personality.
