Myrna S. Nelson

Myrna was born in Polangui Albay, Philippines to Agustin and Adela Martinez on January 3rd,

1944. She graduated from Philippine Normal College and worked as a teacher at various schools

throughout the Philippines for several years. She married William Nelson on November 28th,

1969 on Clark Air Base, Philippines and they went on to have two children. She had previously

served as the Advisor for the Enlisted Spouses Club on Clark Air Base and one of the Founders

and Secretary of the Bikolnon Association of Las Vegas.

Myrna Nelson is preceded in death by her parents Augustin and Adela, brothers Senen and

Jaime, and sister Ma. Leticia.

Myrna is survived by spouse William Nelson, children Michael and Adrienne, their spouses

Tiffany and Richard, brothers Ronelo, Bernard, Vincent, and Agustin Jr., sisters Eleanor, Marlyn,

Marian, Susan, Gidgetta, and Glendura and grandchildren Alec, Ciara, Camron, Tristan, and

Addison.

Myrna Nelson loved to read, sing, travel, and was a wonderful cook. She loved to spend quality

time with her loved ones and was such a joy to be around. She was kind, talented, smart, and

devoted to god. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family of Myrna Nelson would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the Doctors and

Nurses at Henderson Hospital Intermediate care and the National Kidney Foundation.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at Palm Eastern

Mortuary & Cemetery with Father Dave Casaleggio Officiating.
