Morris Craig “Deck” Decker Jr, age 60, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Mike O Callaghan Medical facility on Nellis Air Force Base.
Born January 28, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Morris Decker Sr. and JoAnne (Cox) Decker, and was known as Craig or Deck by his friends.
Mr. Decker served his country proudly with his enlistment in the United States Air Force and 21 years of honorable and distinctive service as a Crew Chief, Flight-line Superintendent and Project Officer. Upon retirement from active duty he continued with Federal Civil Service for an additional 17 years as an Operations and Logistics manager displaying a tireless and wonderful knack for solving problems and accomplishing the mission.
Craig enjoyed spending his spare time golfing, shooting darts in the garage, playing fantasy football and was an avid volunteer to anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife Patcharee (Nakprasit). They married on February 21, 1981 at Thetford England in the United Kingdom.
