Monique Michelle Hall was born on November 3, 1967, in Las Vegas, NV. Monique was blessed to have three parents: Marvin and Bernice Hall who adopted her at a few months old, and her biological mother, Juanita Davis. She was preceded in death by her father, both mothers and her brother: Michael Elie.
Monique received Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Elder A.H. Montgomery at Maywood Bible C.O.G.I.C. in Maywood, Illinois.
Monique attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, IL and graduated in 1986. Monique didn’t’ have any biological children of her own but all the children loved her, and she was definitely the “favorite aunt”.
Monique began her career right out of high school with Allied Van Lines in 1986 as a dispatcher. She was promoted to planner. In 2006, Monique moved over to Rose Moving company as an Allied Van Lines interstate dispatcher. Monique will forever be known for growing the company fleet from 8 drivers to over 40 drivers and at least 140 customers. Rose Moving became like family to her and everyone affectionately called her “Mo”.
Throughout her tenure at Rose and Allied, Monique exemplified unwavering commitment, professionalism, and a genuine passion for her work. Her positive attitude, kindness, and tireless efforts touched the lives of not only her immediate team but also resonated throughout our entire agent network. She was awarded the Allied Van Lines Operations Allstar Individual of the Year in 2008-2009 and played a huge role in earning Rose Moving & Storage the Allied Van Lines Agent of the Year Award in 2009 and 2015. Monique earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues, drivers, other agents, and everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.
Monique departed this life on December 17th, 2023. She leaves to cherish in her memory, sisters: Yvonne Thomas (Milton) from Plainfield, IL, Diane Marshall, Winfield, IL, Deborah Ann Strong (Sam), Las Vegas, NV, Cecilia Harrington (Dee), Plainfield, IL her Nieces: Tanesha, Fateia, Jalena, Nephews: Larry, Reggie, Rolf, Jamaris, Godson, Khalil, God parents Earl and Dorothy, Special cousins Sheila and Carolyn and a host of other relatives and friends.
