Growing up the son of a carpenter, he acquired an adeptness of skill in woodworking, electrical mechanics and his beloved model trains. While having a sharp and mathematical mind he also possessed a childlike sense of humor and curiosity throughout his life.
Michael earned his BS in Computer Science at University of Dayton and where he started many lasting friendships and began a pioneering career with early mainframe computer applications and operating systems. He continued his education at the now Long Island University, obtaining his masters in Management Engineering.
On Oct 2nd 1976 he married Joan and they celebrated their 46th anniversary this year. They then adopted and raised their two sons Andrew and James from Lima, Peru and Bogota, Colombia respectively.
He retired to Las Vegas with Joan in 2002 where they were an inseparable team living truly for themselves. Together they enjoyed attending trade shows, musical concerts, magic shows as well as passionately rooting for the Las Vegas Golden Knights. Michael was also an avid traveler, taking to the road to see as much of the country as possible and with cruises to experience the world at large.
The family will hold a memorial mass the first week of January.
