Michael “Mike” David Kaiser passed away peacefully in his home Thursday morning, December 15, 2016. Mike was originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where his family owned and ran the famous Kaiser-Knickerbocker Hotel, where he grew up much like Eloise at the Plaza. Mike loved his family more than anything, expect maybe the Green Bay Packers. He was loyal to a fault, devoted to his family, an avid sports fan, coached his daughter’s sports teams, and loved good food, talking sports and playing poker with his friends. Before he retired, Mike was a business owner, had previously managed his family’s businesses, as well as having been an award-winning salesmen for various national companies, most notably ITT Life. Michael was predeceased by his much loved parents, Rachel and Oscar Kaiser, sister Molly Kaiser Marsh, brother Harry Benjamin Kaiser, uncle Edward Kaiser, and aunt Lee Kaiser. He shared an incredible love with his beautiful and angelic wife of 38 years, Barbara Alene Wolfe Kaiser, predeceased in 2010. Michael is survived by his daughter, Staci Kaiser, who was his pride and joy, his son-in-law Keun Woo “Ken” Kim, who was his companion and good friend in recent years, spirited stepdaughter Sherri Goodsitt, and tender-hearted stepson Jeff Goodsitt, as well as three grandsons who he delighted in, Josh Arnold, Chase Goodsitt and Tristan Kaiser, along with his many life-long friends in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Scottsdale, Arizona, Los Angeles, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. He will be dearly missed, but will live in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Funeral service for friends and family in Las Vegas at: King David Chapel on Tuesday, December 20th at 2pm and graveside burial service for friends and family in Milwaukee at: Second Home Cemetery on Thursday, December 22nd at a time to be determined.
