

Mary Jane Miller, 92, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011. She was born Dec. 14, 1918, in Tiffin, Ohio, and was a resident of Nevada since 1962. Mary Jane was a homemaker, a retired registered nurse during World War II and faithfully served in her local church. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2007. Mary Jane is survived by her daughters, Antoinette M. (Ed) Garrison of Charlestown, Md.; son, David A. (Chris) Miller of Savannah, Ga.; daughter, Janie H. (Edward) Brown of Las Vegas; son, Kenneth D. Miller of Las Vegas; brothers, Robert (Phyllis) Reis, John (Loretta) Reis and Richard (Donna) Reis, all of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, June 13, with Vigil at 5 p.m., at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at St. George's Anglican Church, 7676 W. Gilmore. Burial will follow at noon, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd.
