Mary and I had a very special relationship during her years in Prescott, AZ. She was the Counsellor and I was Assistant Principal and English Dept. Head at Bradshaw Mountain High School during some very stressful times. We were a good team; when one was hesitant the other was ready to step in and make decisions. We thoroughly enjoyed each other's company and sense of humor. I will miss Mary's wit and wisdom. May her travels continue on in love and peace.

None will miss Mary as much as I. She was my pal, my wife and my love.

Mary, was a dear and great friend to me. Earlier this year, I lost my job and it was through the compassion of Mary and Bob that I was able to make ends meet - she hired me to be her freelance graphic designer/web designer, and Bob hired me to be his editor. I'd never designed a website before...but Mary didn't mind being my guinea pig. She was never afraid of taking risks - even at 75 she was starting new things and investing a lot of time, energy, and effort into her new web studio Paintmak.com. She was a really neat lady, spunky too! :) She helped nurture my dreams and passions and encouraged me to go the extra mile. You will truly be missed...God brought you into my life at the perfect time...and He took you out of my life at a not so perfect time...but I know in everything that you were heaven sent. Thank you for everything, I will miss you, and I promise to check-in on Bob every so often!

Mary, was a great friend and almost like a mom to me. When I lost my job early this year she helped me financially by employing me as her freelance graphic artist/web designer. I learned so much through that experience and developed a close-knit friendship with her and Bob. She enjoyed learning about my other hobbies/passions and would nurture growth in those areas. Even at 75 Mary never stopped dreaming and she always encouraged me to press-on, to not quit looking for a job, to  not get discouraged. Her care for me truly came at a time of need in my life - I believe she was heaven sent. Thank you Mary for everything! I will treasure the moments I spent with you and I promise to check-in on Bob every now and then.

even though I'm many years younger than Mary, we had a special friendship. She was a suite mate. We would talk for hours and hours about everything and anything. My heart is sad and I'm going to miss her. Rest in Peace Mary.

I was so sorry to hear of Mary's passing.  I will always remember the great time we had in Hawaii.  Time helps to  heals all things.

I am saddened to read that Mary has passed on. She was a delightful person and a wonderful artist.

I was saddened to read of Mary's passing.  She and I became friends some years ago in a painting class and stayed in contact over the years.  She was a lovely lady and a marvelous painter.  I will miss her.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
