Mary Ann Starks of Las Vegas, passed away April 4, 2014 at Southern Hills Hospital with her family by her side. Mary Ann was born June 20, 1939 in Orlando, Florida. She was a long time resident of Las Vegas and retired from Centel after 34 years. Always with an infectious smile and loving heart, Mary Ann brought joy to everyone she met. She is survived by the love of her life, husband of 55 years, James (Speed) Starks, her favorite son Randy Starks; his wife Cassie, her grandson Malik, her sister Charlie Mae Barnes, and a host of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her sister Joan Ann Woods. Mary Ann will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Palm Mortuary, 7600 Eastern Ave Las Vegas. Services will follow at 1:00p.
