Martha was born in Brownsville, Texas to Martha Alicia Hernandez and Jose Issac Hernandez on June 20, 1976. She was a gifted musician who dedicated her life to music education for almost 20 years, serving as a teacher to hundreds of students at Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada, and Clifford J. Lawrence Middle School and Chaparral High School, both in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Music played a pivotal role in Martha’s life, a passion ignited by her middle school band director, Mr. Paul Flinchbaugh, in Brownsville, Texas. She attended Gladys Porter High School before her music studies took her to Corpus Christi, Texas where she met her future husband, Noe Ramos Jr. She studied at Del Mar College and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Martha and Noe were married in 2002 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. Their family was complete with the arrival of their beautiful daughter, Zoey Karin, in 2012. Zoey was Martha’s pride and joy who shares a talent and passion for music like her mom and dad. Martha’s love and devotion to her family was incomparable. She was an amazing wife and mother, a caring sister, and a loving daughter.
Martha is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alicia Gallegos and Rodrigo Gallegos, and paternal grandparents Pura Gloria Hernandez and Hipolito Hernandez. Martha is survived by her husband Noe Ramos Jr., her daughter Zoey Karin Ramos, her sisters Vallerie Guerra and Cynthia Ann Guerra, her niece Madison Celeste Guerra, and her parents Martha Alicia Hernandez and Jose Isaac Hernandez.
