Marlowe J. Mogill passed away January 19, 2017, at the age of 79. He was born in Chicago, IL, as the only child of Rose and Jacob Mogill. He taught biology at Schurz High School for over 30 years before retiring to Las Vegas, NV, 22 years ago. He has been employed with Palm Mortuary for over 10 years. Marlowe played active roles at both Temple Beth Sholom and Bet Knesset Bamidbar; the Chevra Kadisha, and was a lifetime member of the Masons. Fishing and football were among his favorite interests. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara, son Jace, daughter Morissa Rostron (David) and was especially proud of his three grandchildren Ryan, Amanda and Erin. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at King David Memorial Chapel. The committal service will follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery. Donations in Marlowe’s memory may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation.
