Hey Mark, it’s your day today, I just wanted to let you know I’m thinking of you. To be honest with you I think of you often. I think of the good times we had, driving down the road blasting Tupac, I think of the fun trips we’ve been on, and I also think of your face, and the different smirks you made. I think of how I could have been different, to be better in our then relationship. Having you gone makes me think of what I could have done differently, and I now live by that on a daily basis, I’m trying to better myself inside and out. Mark had such a great soul! I have so many memories I want to share! One of the bestest friends you could ask for! We would drive cars to fast to riding to fast. Such a free spirit with the biggest heart!

I never thought I would be saying goodbye to you, threw out all these years you've always been there for me with a shoulder to lean on, advice when I needed it, always checking in on me making sure I was safe and doing okay. I could always vent to you with no judgement. I'm going to miss your random texts asking to go get a drink, go out to eat, coming up with something adventurous or just simply taking your bike on a ride. We had so many plans that had not yet been fulfilled. You were suppose to take me to my first baseball and hockey game. I'll never forget you telling me it's not about the money but how you spend your time, whenever I would make an excuse because I couldn't afford to go on a trip  out of Vegas with you. I really wish I would have taken that chance and listened to you because now i'll never get that opportunity. You are one of the most genuine people I have ever met in my life i'm so thankful we shared the friendship we did i'll always cherish our memories, may there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten. We've had a heck of a friendship. Tons of trips. Plenty of times we would just kill time & rip on Vegas and how great it would be to move.  It would have been nice to see you start a new chapter in Denver, but that was not in the cards after all.

If I had to name one thing you had a firm handle on, it was the fact that we should all appreciate what we have in the present. There truly are no guarantees that we will have those things tomorrow. I am grateful for all the good times we had. New Orleans. Barbados. Punta Cana. Panama. Playa Del Carmen. Cancun. San Diego. Long Beach. Disneyland. It was never hard to convince you to go on a trip. Each trip was different, but there was always some good memories from the places we visited.

I'm going to miss you Mark. But I will also take comfort in the fact that you are now at peace.

My Darling Baby Boy has gone to be with our Lord, so my pain at his passing is not as great as the pain he had to endure for the last 8 years.  I knew he was in tremendous pain constantly, and as his mom, I hurt for him.  It was frustrating beyond words because I was so helpless.    I admired his courage and the brave face he put on so others wouldn't know how much pain he was in.   Mark, I will remember how loving you were, how caring and thoughtful, always helping others.   I know there were many times you helped people who never knew it was you who helped.  You are loved by so many people.  I am blessed to have had you 27 years - 8 years more than I should have. Words can’t express the sadness that we feel over Mark’s passing. Our family had the fortune of spending many summers with Mark, Shannon and Chris in Marblehead as kids boating, swimming and simply hanging out! Mark was always sweet, gentle, polite, loving and grateful.  With his Dad’s quick wit and great sense of humor, you added in his sweet smile and you could only love him to pieces. We are so very sorry for all of you and will keep your hearts close to ours. We do believe in heaven and feel comfort knowing that his four grandparents welcomed Mark with open and loving arms and brought him peace.

Mark was my student at Odyssey Charter High School, and after graduating he became my friend. I’m so incredibly saddened by the news of his passing. Mark was always so funny, and I loved all the positive things he would post on Facebook. My sincere condolences go out to Mark’s family and loved ones. He will truly be missed.

I will really miss mark..he had a very big heart and was such a caring person..2-3yrs ago i was going thru alot..lost alot of friends..but even during my struggle mark always expressed he cared..that he just wanted to see me better.to see me happy..when ever i left from kicking it with him,instead of a fist bump or hand shake.he always hugged me and told me if i ever need to talk t or someone to hang out with let him know..never realized maybe it was him who really needed someone to talk to..i will miss u mark.u were a good caring friend.rip brother.

It’s hard to find the words.. we only met once but you were a kind man. You spoke of moving to Denver, and I was looking forward to having another hockey buddy. Heck, you even offered to come out and help me out with my knee surgery. I’m sorry about your struggles and I hope you’re in a better place. You’re already missed. 

My favorite memory of Mark was when we would meet up for a drink and reminisce about good times we had with Cassidy then we would go to Palm Mortuary to visit him together. Mark if I could talk to you today I would say thank you for the love you always showed Dorian and I. I wish this never happen. You are such a beautiful person inside and out, and every person you met could see that through you baby blues.  I just wish you could see that in yourself. I remember having life talks with Mark, the last time I saw him we met up at Millers Alehouse and he actually wanted to meet up because he saw my artwork and wanted to have me do a commission piece for him. I asked him for all the images and we discussed some plans. He was always so positive and he was one of the only people to ever be like," Jenn can you make this for me, I like your art style."  Afterwards we spoke about him doing yoga for his back and how life was going for him. He asked how things were on my end and we shared some laughs. When dinner was done he never let me pay, he was just always like I got it. Always one of the most positive people to talk to and believed in people and what they were doing in life. I will never forget he was the first to ask me to do artwork for him.  Thank you Mark for believing and liking my artwork, I'm thankful for your love and positivity when we spoke about life. You will be missed greatly. 

Mark, buddy, it's been a long time since I've seen you. You were like my brother from another mother. My riding buddy, and partner in crime. You had that smirk always on your face, chip always on your shoulder, and you always seemed ready to take on the world! I wish I had known what you were going through so I could've reached out. You will be greatly missed, but your free now! I love you brother, and some day we will ride like the old days again! Rest easy man!

I remember the first day I had met you in high school .  A shy young man. We became close until I moved away. You just came back into my life a year ago and now your gone. This cant be I just spoke with  you a few weeks ago. I can't believe you are gone. I will miss you dearly.

Mark was like the little brother I never had. His humor and smile was contagious. He was loyal and protective and a true friend. I'm so sorry that he is gone. 

I have so many fond memories with Mark! Any time we've been together we always seemed to make memories. I will forever miss my breakfast buddy.  You will be in my heart forever and always. I’m at a loss of words to lose one of my best friends who was so young. I’ll always remember our motorcycle rides together and travel adventures.
