Mark Louis McKee, lovingly known to his family as “Mark Louie” and fondly referred to by friends as “Teddy Bear” for his kind heart and gentle soul, passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on November 28, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving and devoted family at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born on August 17, 1957, in North Hollywood, California, Mark grew up in the San Fernando Valley, where he attended Cleveland High School. While there, he developed a love for tennis and proudly played in the Marching Band, making memories that would last a lifetime.
Mark spent his career in the aerospace industry, where he dedicated his life to selling the critical nuts, bolts, and screws that hold our world together. A man of entrepreneurial spirit, he went on to establish Tay/Mar Industries, leaving his mark on the industry.
A passionate fan of the USC Trojans, Mark’s love for the football team ran so deep it could be said he bled Cardinal and Gold. He was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching games on television just as much as attending in person. Mark loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed an occasional cigar with friends and family. He liked dining at his favorite restaurants, and finding new local spots. However, nothing compared to the comfort of his mother’s Italian cooking, which always held a special place in his heart.
Mark was a proud and loving father and grandfather. He cherished every moment spent with his family, embracing the role of “Papa” with pride and joy to his grandchildren.
A reliable presence in the lives of those he loved, Mark was known for his unwavering dependability, always remembering birthdays, anniversaries, and significant milestones. His calls, visits, hugs, smiles, and cheerful demeanor were a source of comfort and joy for all who knew him.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents Mark Riley McKee and Carmella “LuLu” Senerchia.
He is survived by his, Stepfather Frank (Bobby) Senerchia, daughter Taylor “Scooby” (Ronnie) McKee-Flores, grandchildren, Emily Frances and Louis Carmello Flores.
His legacy as a loving son, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. Mark’s warm presence and generous spirit will be profoundly missed, but the memories of his laughter and unwavering support will remain cherished by all.
