Mark Christopher Knapp, 46, a nuclear engineer, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010. He was born Sept. 9, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, and was a 13-year resident of Nevada. Mark was a graduate of Ohio State University and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Joellen. Mark is survived by his wife, Megan Knapp; son, Connor; and daughter, Alyssa, all of Las Vegas; father, Cecil (Judy) Knapp of Florida; and sister, Kim Slaybaugh of Ohio. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Monday, April 19. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, both at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Donations can be made to 5 P Minus, P.O.
