Marion Gray Downs Kearney, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 6, 2017 due to complications of a stroke. Born January 30, 1935 in Newtongrange, Midlothian, Scotland. She moved to Las Vegas with her husband and 4 children in 1968. She worked as an inspectress for MGM Hotel for many years before retiring. She loved books, newspapers, movies, TV, afternoon tea, gardening, but her greatest joy was her family.
Preceded in death by her husband Gerald Kearney; parents John and Margaret McIntosh; brother George McIntosh. She is survived by her brother, Ian (Margaret) McIntosh; sister-in-law Nancy McIntosh; children, Margaret Kiphart, Celine (Greg) Bowman, Laura Kearney, Gerald (Dana) Kearney. She had 10 grand children and 16 great grand children, as well as nieces, nephews.
Services to be held at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas on January 16 at 11:00am with burial to follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery.
