Thelma Kenmore, a WWII Vet and a homemaker, in Whitehouse,NJ on September 2, 1944. She spent her early years in rural New Jersey with many cousins, aunts and uncles all of whom she loved dearly. After her high school years and cosmetology school in Phoenix, Arizona, Marilyn moved to Los Angeles where she worked as an award-winning hairdresser. Marilyn loved to dance and was proud to have been a “GoGo Dancer” in Los Angeles at the iconic 1960s nightclubs, The Troubadour and The Whiskey A-Go-Go. A true lover of music, poetry, and drawing, Marilyn’s home was usually filled with the sound of her favorite songs.
Marilyn moved to Las Vegas in 1969 and met the love of her life, Sam Galati, while working at The Tropicana Hotel. They were married for 46 years. The couple were blessed with two children; Gina Galati Stewart and Michael Galati.
Marilyn loved her family more than anything in her life. She loved with her whole heart. She will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones.
Marilyn entered eternal life on July 20,2020. She is survived by her husband Sam; her children Gina Stewart and Michael Galati; and her brothers Dennis Kenmore and Robert Davis. Her parents precede her in death.
