Marie Ackerman, 89, a long- time resident of the Las Vegas area, passed away on September 14th, 2023.
She was born July 1, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to Vincent and Filomena Poerio and graduated from Lafayette High School.
Among Marie’s many loves were cooking and caring for her family and traveling with the love of her life of 72 years, Daniel.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel; her sons Daniel (Betty) Ackerman & Eddie (Missie) Ackerman; her daughter Carol Woolf and her grandkids, Aaron & Ryan Ackerman.
She lived a long & full life and will be terribly missed by everyone who knew her.
