Maria Salome Uson Tamayo

Maria Salome Uson Tamayo, age 76, of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 in Las Vegas. She was born on March 15, 1947 in Manila, Philippines and lived in Sual, Pangasinan, Philippines where her family owned and operated a funeral home. She moved to Las Vegas six years ago in her retirement. Mrs. Tamayo retired as a materials inspector for the Philippine Government. She was preceded in death by her son: Renato “Jopet” Sabido. Survivors include her husband of six years: Roman Tamayo, Jr.; children: Michael (Faith) Manaois, Rachel (Deogracias) Ladores, Karen Sabido and Myla (Jerry) Zayat; step-children: Jennifer Tamayo and Bryan Tamayo; twelve grandchildren: David Anthony, RJ, Matthew, Peter, Sabrina, Janzen, Jiana, Joshua, Joaquin, Renato, III., Jacob and Jane; seven siblings: Ma.Louisa Peralta, Thelma Uson, Lemuel Uson, Alice Boada, Melodie Ang, Jocelyn Madulid and Llewelyn Uson.

Services for Maria will be planned at a later date. If desired, contributions in Maria’s name are suggested to Christ the King Catholic Church.
