Carmen was born on September 30, 1978 in Chicago, IL to Vicente Osorio and Josephine Vargas. While she was born in Chicago, she was raised in San Bernardino, CA by Jesus Mendoza and Josephine Vargas.
Carmen married her high school sweetheart at the age of 19. Javier Perez Jr. was her soul mate and lifelong partner. Together they had three son’s; Javier III, Marcos and Daniel Perez.
Carmen started her career in the medical field as a Medical Assistant. She was also a trained phlebotomist and had previously worked at Rehab Centers and Memory Care. She was currently working at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). She was actively in the process of returning to school in order to fulfill her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse.
Carmen was very family-oriented. She loved and cherished not only her immediate family but her extended family and many friends. She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel with her family. During their many travels, she enjoyed zip lining, underground cave exploring, parasailing, horseback riding, scuba diving, among other activities. She also enjoyed taking her pink and black gun out to the shooting range, riding ATVs in the desert with her husband and sons and she loved dancing. Everyone who knew her knew she had a heart of gold. People like her are like rare, precious treasures hidden deep underground.
She is survived by her husband Javier Jr.; her sons Javier III, Marcos and Daniel Perez; her father Vicente Osorio; her mother Josephine Vargas; her stepfather Jesus Mendoza; and her siblings Sylvia Osorio, Vicente Osorio, Debbie Maldonado, Jessica Contreras, Josephine Gaytan, Jesus Osorio, Julio Osorio, Jorge Osorio, John Osorio, Marisol Osorio, Alejandro Osorio, Eduardo Osorio and Angeles Osorio. Carmen was predeceased by her brother David Osorio.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am to 2:00pm August 1, 2018 at Palm Eastern Mortuary.
