Maria L. Vargas Conway, 53, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 20, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Katrina Sparta; her three grandchildren; her parents, Rose and Fausto Vargas; her sister, Elena Alldred; her brothers, Ed and Joe Vargas; her grandmother, Mary C. Hurtado; best friend and companion, Wayne Wilder; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive.
