Madeline Romyn, 85, of Las Vegas, passed away April 17, 2011. She was born Dec. 6, 1925, in Indiana, Pa., and resided in Nevada for over 55 years. Madeline retired after 21 years as a legal secretary with the Public Defenders Office. She loved to bowl, dance and sing; she loved God and was active in her church. Madeline is survived by her daughter, Lynda (Kyle) Burns; son, Ron (Barbara) Romyn; dear friend, Sandra Hart; four brothers; two sisters; 10 nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 N. Las Vegas Blvd.
