Luanne Marie Baker, of Henderson, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2014, with loved ones present. She was born on December 14, 1954, in Loma Linda, California. She is survived by her son, Scott Baker; her daughter, Lindsay Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Danielle; her son-in-law, Kenny; and her granddaughters, Kenzie and Brynlee. She was employed with the City of Henderson for 15 years as a judicial executive assistant. Prior to that, she worked in the casino industry. She volunteered her free time to the CASA foundation to help foster children. She enjoyed quilting and being a member of the Las Vegas Corvettes Association. She also enjoyed vacations at the beach and spending time with her family. Luanne's memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas.
