Lori Morrison, 53, of Las Vegas, passed away May 3, 2014. She was born March 5, 1961 to Lloyd and Evelyn Orman, in Simi Valley, California where she grew up and attended Simi High School, and later, Moorpark College and Cal State Northridge. In her lifetime, Lori had a career as a Kindergarten Teacher, and later, as an Activities Director for senior citizens. Throughout her life, she was also a devoted and loving housewife, a caring daughter, a supportive sister and a kind friend to many. As a humble Humanitarian Christian, she treated all people with respect and brotherly love. In her lifetime, Lori fought through many health and other challenges. She faced life's challenges with great courage, strength, character and determination. Her life can be defined in not how many times she may have been knocked down, but in how many times she got back up again and kept on fighting through, overcoming the challenges. Although we feel a deep sorrow in losing her, we must take comfort in knowing her pain is gone, she has peace, and she is with the Lord. Lori, we'll love you always and forever, “Our Pretty Angel”. We also know, if we look in our hearts, we will find comfort and strength in the love you gave us; a love that will never leave us until we meet again.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 10 years, John D Morrison; brother-in- law, Steve Potter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
