The daughter of Mataituli Eletise Tuitele (deceased) & Vanila Vailu’u (deceased), she was the last remaining child of 10.
Mom graduated from Monterey High School in Northern California in 1965 and moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she met & married the love of her life. Tinofa’atasi M. Tuatagaloa, Sr. They married on October 16, 1971.
She was a woman of many talents. Came from a long line of entertainers and was one herself. She owned a Polynesian floor show for more than 15 years called The Ohana Polynesian Revue, had a catering business and was even a seamstress. She also loved most sports and playing them! From softball, basketball, baseball and her favorite volleyball. She made a name for herself in the game of Cricket (Polynesian Style). She was an amazing pitcher of the game, made a name for herself and EVERYONE knew her.
Her heart was as pure as gold and bigger than any ocean. A God fearing woman who loved her family and her faith more than life itself. She always put the well being of others before herself.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tinofa’atasi M. Tuatagaloa, Sr. Her children - Tino, Nelson (& Carmen), Terilyn-Joy (aka Honeygirl & Tony), Sharlene and Sharmaine (& Tui). Grandchildren - Natalia-Cerilyn, Brigham, Teiyah-Loren, Chase, Taimane, Summer, Torin and Stone. And last but definitely not least, her Great Granddaughter - Marilyn-Love. Mom also considered all of her nieces and nephews as her own children as well, being that she was the last of her siblings. There will always be a void in our hearts for you mom. But we know you are in a much better place. We will ALWAYS LOVE & MISS YOU MOM!! Please watch over us and visit us in our dreams. Fly high with the angels Mom. Manuia Lau Malaga Tinā Peleina.
