Linda Susan Gabbert, born on February 4, 1951 in San Gabriel, California, was taken from us far too soon on Friday, October 28, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Linda loved her family with and without fur with all her heart. She lost the love of her life, Rodney H. Gabbert eleven years ago and is now reunited with him riding their heavenly Harley in the sky.
She was a retired retail clerk who worked for Albertson’s and Vons. She enjoyed reading, sewing and crafts, riding ATV’s and being behind Rod taking road trips on their Harley. Her love of animals was evident over the years. She most loved being a grandmother to her five grandchildren. She enjoyed attending school functions with her granddaughter as well.
She is survived by her daughters Leslie (Eric) Sather of North Las Vegas, NV and Wendy (Kevin) Smith of Kern River, CA; Grandchildren Keeley, Logan, Aidan, Korbin, and Brighton; Sisters Michelle Fuller and Ramona Drake; Brother-in-Law Steve; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jasper, her furry best friend, is now being looked after by her daughter Leslie, son in law Eric and granddaughter Keeley.
Linda is predeceased by her husband Rodney in 2011, her parents, sister Sandra, brother Charlie and many fur babies.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
As Garth Brooks sang “I could have missed the pain, but I’d have had to miss the dance”.
