Lillian Ray

Lillian Margaret Ray was the daughter of Frank and Anna Zvolanek. Lillian grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lillian was raised with three siblings. She had one older brother, Francis and one older sister, Eleanor and one younger brother, Richard. She graduated from Girls' Technical High School in 1938. She enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. Lillian worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Lillian was blessed with four children, three daughters, Diane, Susan and Bonny and one son, Robert. Another blessing for Lillian was the gift of thirteen grandchildren, Eric, Stephen, Julie, Danny, Alane, Denise, Jennifer, Kevin, Dustin, Tony, Jeffery, Benjamin and Dade. Fortunately, Lillian enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Lillian worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was as a factory worker. She was employed for 24 1/2 years by Master Lock Company. Lillian always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done. Lillian’s faith was important to her. She was a member of the St. Wenceslaus Roman Catholic Church. Lillian enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for her to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included San Diego, California, New Orleans, Louisiana and Las Vegas, Nevada. When Lillian’s retirement finally arrived in 1991, she was well prepared. Her new life involved relocating to Wisconsin. Even in retirement, Lillian continued to stay in touch with her old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Lillian was active in her new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered her. She is survived by her three children and all of her grandchildren. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary. Lillian was laid to rest in Palm Northwest Cemetery, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Northwest Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
