Lillian Fernandez

Lillian Ramirez Fernandez, 87, was a resident of Henderson, Nevada since 1996. Lillian was born in Puerto Rico in January of 1928. She is the beloved mother of her children Thomas, Michael, Robert, Yolanda and William. She is the grandmother of Travis, Ashley, Colin, Kelsey, Rachel and Tara, and the great-grandmother of Logan and Kendall. Moving from Puerto Rico at a very young age, she established herself in the “City of her Heart”, New York City. Satisfying the gypsy in her soul, she was lucky to have been able to travel the world; although her favorite adventure was always taking 2 to 3 weeks each summer, basking with her younger children in the Caribbean sun. Her personal accomplishments she was most proud of were her five children, becoming a Minister and her published poetry. She peacefully passed on January 10, 2016. She had her husband of 39 years, Pedro Fernandez, and her children Yolanda and William at her side.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the small chapel at Palm Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
