Lavette worked as a mail carrier for many years with the United States Postal Service, in Las Vegas.
Lavette is survived by her children Orlando Guirao, Marina (Richard) Serna, Myriah Guirao, and Matthew Guirao; siblings Jamie (Thomas) Stafford, Ramon (Patches) Guirao Jr., and Liza (Joshua) Nelums. grandchildren James, Julian, Andrew, and Logan; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A gathering of family and friends for Lavette will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A Celebration of Life will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Pupus will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
