Larry Shriner, 70, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010. He was born Sept. 30, 1939, in Spokane, Wash., and was a 50-year resident of Nevada. Larry served in the U.S. Army and was a retired construction superintendent. He was preceded in death by his sister, Roberta Shriner; his father, Roy Shriner; his mother, Vera VanRossum Shriner; and stepmother, Hazel Shriner. Larry is survived by his wife, Joan Shriner; daughter, Natasha Shriner of Las Vegas; and brothers, Jerry Thomas (Kay) of Apache Junction, Ariz., Ernie Shriner (Anne) of Bremerton, Wash., and Bob Shriner (Jan) of Santa Maria, Calif. Memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Palm Mortuary-Downtown, 1325 N. Main St.
