Larry James Childs

Larry James Childs, born September 23rd, 1949 in Fordyce Arkansas, his life ended August 27, 2011. Larry has been in Hotel and Gaming field for the last forty years. His last employer was the Bellagio Hotel as a Limousine Driver. Larry was a very hard worker and dedicated employee. Larry's hobbies and passion was wood work & designs, and simply working beautifying his yard. He had a great love and joy for spending quality time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father Acie Thrower, Mother Thelma Lee Gaston, Stepfather Frank Childs. Larry is survived by his Life partner Joy Ann Williams. He had one son Mario Richey of Las Vegas and five daughters Andrea Whitehead and Amelia Cruz, Kimberly Smith, Lakeshia Johnson all of Las Vegas, and Stacey Lee of Detroit Michigan. Grandchildren; Kelsee, Jamal, Josiah, Elijah, Jewel, Eliana, Destiny, Jamish, Shalese, Aliyha, Antwon, Marion, Keaudre, Tyaunna, Angelo, Damarion, Akeem, Sherrief, Shaude, Denise, Alana all of Las Vegas. Five brothers Henri Frank Styles, Gary Childs, Ray Childs all of Arkansas. Ken Burns, and Ronnie Burns, Willie Thrower All of Las Vegas, Two Brother James Tate and Lawerance Thrower both deceased. He had seven sisters, Brenda Chambers, and Tiny Warner of Arkansas. Jennifer Burns of Las Vegas. Jo Hall, Helen Childs, Cletis Childs, Donna Mathews all deceased. One living uncle Ranzo Webb.
