A vivid memory of grandma will always treasure was when I was twelve years old visiting our grandparents in Seattle . It rained the entire time we were there.  Those two weeks we spent sharing stories, going to the beach albeit briefly  but most of the time was spent indoors spending time with grandma and grandpa. Grandpa teaching us about gun safety while grandma watched us in the kitchen.   

Lana was always special to me. She may have been my sister-in-law by marriage to my brother,  but I felt like she was my real sister.  I loved her peanut butter fudge and banana nut bread. For my birthday she would make me a double batch of banana nut bread and make me so happy. She was so good to me, my children and grandchildren. She spoiled my grandchildren. We will all miss her so much. We love you Lana June!!!!

This wonderful lady was the mother-in-law to my son Steven . She was a very good mother to Steven in all the years that he was in her life. In the years that I knew her she was very kind and considerate to me and I was very grateful that Michelle had brought her mom & Dad into our lives. To the ones that she leaves behind her husband her children and  grandchildren they have been blessed to have such a wise and kind person to guide them in there lives. I asked God to give them strength to get through the sorrow in the years ahead. I asked God to give them peace and encouragement. 

I have been truly blessed to have had such a loving , beautiful  , caring,  and thoughtful aunt that I'm truly going to miss...
Auntie you meant the world to me and no words can express the love and feelings I have for you...
You will always be in my heart!!
I love and miss you today and always , but I know we will be together again...

I loved Lana from the first time I met her
 while working at the phone company in Everett.  She just radiated, even when not feeling well.  We bonded over our love of our families.   It was always fun to get together with Lana and Richard (honey).  We missed them when they left Washington but were able to visit their home in Hesperia and pick up right where we left off years before.   My last talk with Lana was difficult for her emotionally and physically yet she still wanted to know about our family, each child and grandchild, and then shared about hers.   She was so excited to tell me about Michelle's wedding and sent me photos.  That slice of "normal" meant so much to her.   Thank you Richard for taking such great care of my friend and I pray for all of the family that the memories of your precious Mom and Grandma will help you thru the pain of her loss.

To a dear friend that I have known for over 40 years.  You had a heart of gold Lana.  You will be missed.  I enjoyed the friendship with you and Richard talking about the old times and going out to dinner.

I enjoyed spending time with her and Dad watching TV hanging out having dinner or just sitting in the backyard just relaxing!
I remember the day I married her daughter I'd never seen that woman smile so much it was a beautiful day. I was so proud to have her as my mother-in-law.
Rest in peace little lady this son-in-law will miss you.

This beautiful person touched many people in her life. I was blessed to have her as my wife for 49 years, 10 months and 28 days. Not nearly long enough. If you were part of her family she loved you, and if you were her friend she loved you also. She will be missed but never forgotten. 

My mom was my best friend she was always a phone call away. She always listened and never judged no matter how badly I messed up. She loved loved her children, grand children and great grand children with her whole heart. I will never be able to pick up the phone again and be able to call her and tell her about my day she will be fiercely missed .  I love her more than I can express and it is heart breaking to have to let her go. But I will always cherish the memories and the talks that we had mommy I love you and I miss more that I can say.
