Kathryn Grace Hollberg, 70, of Las Vegas, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 13, 2014. She was born December 28, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to June Stoker Olsen and Charles Warner. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where she met and married Robert M. Hollberg. Their only child, Melissa, was born on their one year anniversary. They were later divorced. She moved to Las Vegas in 1988. She was an interior designer and worked for many design firms in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Her profession enabled her to do the things she loved the most: working with people and being creative. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was recently endowed in the Las Vegas Temple. What a special day that was and we are grateful she was able to accomplish that before she passed. She had an unwavering faith in her Savior Jesus Christ and was anxious to return into his loving arms. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend and we look forward to the day we see her again. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Zachary Smith. She is survived by her loving family: daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Michael Smith; grandchildren, Alex, Brandon and Hailey Smith, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Greg (Marie) Warner and Steven Olsen; and one sister, Marie (Bill) Gokey; one nephew and two nieces, all of Salt Lake City. Visitation will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, with funeral services following at 4:30 p.m., both at the Hillpointe LDS Ward Chapel, 9011 Hillpointe Rd, Las Vegas. Interment will take place on Monday, July 21, at 11 a.m., at the Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas.
