I was so blessed to have known you, Katie for so many years! Going back even before the Riviera Hotel, to the days of fun in the Lounges and your Amazing husband, Tom Christi...You were the beacon of light in his heart, with so much LOVE, I will always remember those days! Your Beautiful Smile, Your Loving Heart, Your Amazing Humor has always brought Magic to everyone you knew. There are certain people who touch our Lives with Special Joy and Love, and share of themselves effortlessly....they leave a blessed mark on our souls forever. You are one of those Special people on some of the pages of my Life, and I am truly grateful to have known you! God Bless You with Love Forever, God bring Your Family Peace.

My friend Ross just informed me of Kathy's passing.   I am shocked and saddened and extend my deepest condolences to her family as well as her sister Barbara.  Over the years she reached out to maintain our  friendship and I regret that we lost contact at times.   I know that she affected all who came in contact with her in such a positive way.    She was so very proud of her family.   Kathy was special 

Katie's compassion and accepting way is a gift that is forever cherished in our hearts.   Sending our prayers and thoughts.

I had the joy of working with her during her time with the Caesars family and I can say she was a great lady, a ray of light and overall wonderful person.  I will continue to think of her fondly.  My condolences to everyone who feels the loss of her with us.

My heart is saddened hearing of Katie passing. Working at that Rio I met Katie thru my brother Mark who also worked with her. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer she told him she would meet with me and offer any help she could. Katie became my mentor, and soon we became friends. She and I soon started mentoring Susan, with stage 4. Wasn't long and we became friends, we met for lunches, breakfast, and had many supportive phone chats. So much laughter, sometime tears, but lots of support.  We called ourselves the 3 Pinkateers and Susan made a statue of the 3 0f us.  
Katie put aside her pain and struggle of cancer, to help and mentor others. She gave strength, hope, courage, positive, and she gave the word of Faith. She told me, Let go, Let God! I found all these things through her help, her friendship. She was the light of hope for those battling cancer. 
I know you hear me Katie, thank you my friend and may you rest now and I know you are free of pain. I know Susan was there to meet you, heaven's mentors. ❤

Tom, Kelly and Ryan I am so sorry for your loss of you wife and Mom.  Katie was a very special person and was much loved.  I worked with Katie at the Rio and we ate lunch almost every day together where we just laughed the whole time.  Katie Loved her family so, so much.  She fought so hard these past 11 years.  I know that Katie is now with God and is smiling down at all of you.  I know how raw your pain is right now, but hold on to the Happy Memories.  Each day think of a memory that will make you smile and soon your tears will be replaced with smiles.   When my husband died Katie called me with such sympathy and encouragement that I would get through the pain, so told me to Look to God.  I am a better person for knowing Katie.
