Karen was born November 15, 1942 in Willimantic, Connecticut and the Lord called her home June 11, 2023 with Hiroshi by her side in Henderson, Nevada after a battle with an illness. She is survived by her husband Hiroshi Sugawara, twin sister Susan Hoover, daughter Carolyn Love, son Christopher Kightlinger, granddaughter Margaret-Ann Petty, great granddaughters Astrid Petty, Brooklynn Petty and nieces Mary-Clo & Loren. We know you are with the Lord now and reunited with your brother, Maurice (Jay) Johnson.
