Kaillon Dejaun Brown was born on August 3, 1988 in Los Angeles, California to Thecia LaShawn Brown. He attended public school in the Los Angeles area. At the age of 8 Kaillon, his mom and brother moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended public school. Kaillon played on the Pee Wee Basketball team. In 2002 at the age of 13 Kaillon, his mom and brother moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where they lived with his granny. He attended public school in Las Vegas. Later, he joined the Victory Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Robert Fowler where he attended Sunday School and later wanted to become a member of the steppers. Later on, while attending school, Kaillon’s grandmother began to notice that he was having complications with his mobility. She got him to doctors and found out that he had Cerebral Palsy (Ataxia), a condition that attacks the whole nervous system and the brain. She cared for him for 15 years until he had to have 24 hour care. Kaillon was transported from a rehabilitation center to Saint Rose De Lima Hospital early Thanksgiving morning. At 2:10am he was immediately put on a respirator for breathing complications and pneumonia. On December 13, 2015 at 4:30pm at Nathan Adelson Hospice he departed this life.
Though he will be truly missed, his loved ones know he leaves to rejoice in his going home. Kaillon is survived by his mom Thecia L. Brown; his two brothers Jason and Qouri; his devoted granny Mrs. Mary K. Robinson; his very devoted step grandfather Mr. Charles Robinson; his Uncle Edward Brown of Fort Worth, Texas; his Uncle Harold Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; a special person his called Papa, Mr. Robert Cruise of Los Angeles, California; his number one best friend Brandon Marshall, #54, of the Denver Broncos; Brandon’s mother, Ms. Barbara William Marshall and her family that cared for him; all his friends at Opportunity Village where he worked and attended classes for 6 years; his Aunt Joyce Dunson and a host of relatives and friends.
