Joyce Ann Phillips

Joyce (Chism) Phillips, our loving Mom, Ma, Gra, Grandma, Great Gra, 2grandma, and Great Grandma of Poulsbo, Washington, and formerly of Las Vegas Nevada and Globe Arizona, passed into eternity on Sunday, December 11 2016 with family by her side. Born on April 30, 1938 in Central Arizona, the daughter of the late George Chism and Ruby (Scarberry) Chism Wimberley, she grew up in Miami Arizona and married the late John Phillips on October 18, 1956. Her job was to raise their five children. She is survived by her siblings, George (Carole) Chism, John (Linda) Chism, Louvella Coffey and Sheila Anzinger, Aunt Wilma Knight, Aunt Peggy Ferguson, Sister in Law Joan Briggs and many nieces and nephews. Her memory and legacy is carried on through her children - Joy Gonzales (Rik), Becky Kehring (Jeff), Jon Phillips, Chris Phillips (Sheri), Marlena Ellefson (Glen), her 29 grandchildren – Amy McKay (Tom), Andrea Bogdan (Rob), Stacy Ivy (Kris), Nicole Grilli (Mike), Kimberley Mabe (Josh), Breanna Phillips, Brittany Gell (Tommy), Brittany Parker (Tim), Aaron Phillips, Stephanie Ross, Ashley Rodriques (Ikaika), Natalie Branson (Damon), Courtney Nuno (Oscar), Austin Campbell, Sarah Phillips, Hannah Madrid (Josh), Austin Ross, Glen Ellefson, and 17 great grandchildren – Brenden McKay, Alexander Mabe, Aiden McKay, Avie Bogdan, Kaydence Mabe, Lillian Ivy, Livia Bogdan, Hiilani Rodrigues, Lane Ivy, Zachariah Mabe, Kayleighna Gell, Mason Phillips , Ayden Madrid, Maddox Rodriques, Kaydance Gell, Alan Parker, Lennox Madrid. She got to meet her Great Grandson Michael Parker when she arrived in Heaven. She will forever be loved and missed. Viewing will be at Palm Mortuary 1600 S. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas NV 89146 from 3pm – 7pm on Wednesday January 11, 2017 Graveside service will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 on Thursday January 12, 2017 at noon. After the service a Celebration of Life will be held at 5424 Carnation Meadow Street, Las Vegas, NV 89130
